Chairman Ralph Johnson
Ralph Johnson is the 1st African American male to be elected to serve as the National Chairman of the Young Democrats of America MinorityCaucus. Elected at the 2011 YDA National Convention in Louisville, Kentucky to serve a two-year term, he is originally from Memphis,Tennessee, but now calls Louisiana home. Ralph left Tennessee to becomea student at Louisiana State University where he majored in Sociology, Political Science, and Human Resource Management. Professionally, Ralph works in Louisiana's hospitality, culture, recreation, andtourism industry. He has worked for multiple Fortune 500 companies such as the Target, Hilton Hotel, and Convergys Corporations, as well as other positions in the public and non-profit sector including multiple stints as Chief of Staff/Legislative Assistant to members of the East Baton Rouge Metropolitan Council.
A senior dual majoring in Dipomacy & World Affairs and Urban Environmental Policy at Occidental College in Los Angeles, Briana Cartwright has worked for Michigan Congressman Gary Peters and for California State Senator Liu.

Kayleigh Rose Garcia was born on the morning of April 22, 1986 in McAllen, TX. She was raised in Mission and Edinburg, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas Pan American in 2008 with a BA in English. She is currently working on her Masters in Public Administration at UTPA.
